BOATING

Be in the water, and on the water.

Kelowna is blessed with lakes.

From the 110 Km (68 mile) long Okanagan Lake to over 200 other freshwater lakes throughout the area, it’s the perfect place for people who love their boats.

From jetskis to houseboats, canoes to kayaks, there’s every kind to enjoy.  Bring your own water vessel and launch at one of several boat launches in Okanagan Lake. Spend an exciting afternoon parasailing or wind surfing. Or head off on a good old-fashioned paddle and stop along the shore for a quiet picnic.

*It is now law that ALL boaters are required to have the Pleasure Craft Operator Card
in order to operate a powered watercraft. This law applies to boaters of all ages. Powered watercraft includes watercraft fitted with any size motor — even an electric trolling motor. Failing to have a Operator Card could result in fines.
