Seasons

Kelowna is Canada's four seasons playground

Thanks to its mild climate, sunshine, and proximity to lakes, mountains and recreation trails, Kelowna is a city that embraces outdoor adventure and an active lifestyle all year long.

In summer, go for a sail on Okanagan Lake, tee up at one of 19 golf courses, or pick fresh fruit at an orchard. In autumn, hike up pathways with lake views, mountain bike on challenging single track or flow routes, or horseback ride to see the fall colours. When the snow flies, ski or snowboard at a mountain resort, snowshoe along trails covered in soft Okanagan powder, or ice skate right downtown at Stuart Park. And do it all in the spring—it’s possible to carve turns at Big White Ski Resort, cycle the Mission Creek Greenway and kayak on the lake all on the same day!
